Communication is the key to success when working with any individual or businesses large and small. This is especially true when dealing with tech-based issues, such as printers, phones, computers, mobile devices, networks and more. Technology is all about details. It is important that all parties involved communicate their needs and concerns so that problems are addressed promptly and effectively. This is why we created Consultant Alliance. We want our clients to join the alliance, and together create better technology solutions.
Our clients often tell me, “I only wish I’d hired you sooner!” So I asked them, "What are the symptoms that caused us to find Consultant Alliance," and here’s what they said:
Did you know your devices (phones and tablets) are tracking your location and (most of the time) you have full control of it? While I’m not going to get into any of the stranger ways that others can track you through your device, there are many ways that you can control location tracking, disable it and in many cases, remove the existing tracking. I’m going to mention Google and Apple here but there are several others. These location histories are used to support a number of good features such as matching pictures you have taken to locations you have been, and helping you track lost devices, but not everyone appreciates this tracking and that’s OK.
Google can track your location and also share that location with others via the Google Maps Applications.
Apple also tracks your location, however you can control which other apps can track you, within Apple’s settings.
If you are here and not sure how to proceed, please call us @ 626-286-2350 and we would be happy to help you find a solution to your needs.
